I'm not a particular fan of MJ, but I think it's just ridiculous that it's so heavily prosecuted. Legalization and taxation of it will probably never happen (Big Tobacco will stage a coup first), but I'm definitely in favor of decriminalization. And when I think about how many kids $9bn would feed and educate, my god. I'm happy to send my tax money in if it's going to be doing good, but waste, pork, and foolishness like all of this really get my goat. I suppose all we really can do is write to our senators and congresspeople.
