Convince Your Boss To Let You Work From Home.
As readers of this site know, back in September of 2006 I left my steady 4 year old job to see what else was out there. And luck would have it that I landed something right away that lets me work from home on my own terms, and allows me time to work on other projects. I could not have asked for anything better. But if you are still working at the office and think you could do your job from home, Productivity 501 has some tips for you to convince the boss.
“If you were able to eliminate the commute even one day per week, you
would save over 65 hours per year. That is over 8 work days of time or
equivalent to an extra 1.5 weeks of vacation.”
I highly recommend trying to work out something where you can work from home at least a few days a week, as I think it is beneficial to one’s health to not be stuck in a cubicle all day. At least check out the post and maybe put that dream into action!

I took a similar plunge in 2006, but we even moved to Mexico. We are back in the US for awhile, but it has been quite an adventure.
