We don't really budget at all, though. Rather, we set savings goals (see #1 and #5) and as long as those are met, we let the chips fall where they may. And we don't need to pay off debt because we don't really have any. Well, that's not totally true... We have a mortgage, but that's at a favorable rate, and we're paying it ahead of schedule.
