Favorite Blog Wednesday – Getting Rich Slowly.

The 11th personal finance site in my series “Favorite Blog Wednesday” is Get Rich Slowly, written by J.D. Roth. Name sound familiar? That’s because every time I turn around he is being interviewed by someone in the mainstream media. Seriously, if you are looking for a personal finance site to follow, this would definitely be one of them. J.D. has recently been in the New York Times and has over 20,000 RSS subscribers to his blog. I said serious, didn’t I?
Some of my favorites are as follows:
J.D. has dinner with some friends and discusses what each of their parents taught them about money.
Tired of people saying that spending small amounts of money don’t matter to your long term stability? Try again…
And today there is a great post up about resisting the urge to splurge. You should check this one out too, I remember being that way in the late 80’s as well!
The wealth of info coming from Get Rich Slowly is great, and it always feels like we are watching a movie about a guy talking about his money; its that personal. Be sure to check it out and add it to your RSS reader!
And look out for blog #12 next week…only 4 more to go until the 15th and then I am done!
