Cut Your Electric Bill To Zero - A Saturday Must Read.

I just finished reading a great post this morning at The Simple Dollar that is all about installing a wind turbine to cover your electricity needs. The Simple Dollar covers what wind turbines do, the estimated costs for installation, how much wind you probably need in order for it to be effective, and how much electricity you can expect to generate from such an install. We often think about these kind of things (solar, turbines, etc) and this is a good little primer on one way to cut your electric bill to zero.

Both the wife and I are big into the environment, and I maintain another site dedicated to the subject called The Good Human. Whether you think the world is coming to an end in 10 years or its all a bunch of hooey, caring for the world around us should still be an ongoing project. So seeing this post about turbines put a smile on my face this morning.
