Festival Of Frugality Has Gone Upstate.

Jenn over at Frugal Upstate has just put up the 78th Festival of Frugality. If you are looking for some more tips on being frugal and saving some money, this would be a great place to start. My post about Saving Money On Baby Expenses was included, along with some posts I found very interesting:

  • Getting Green wants you to know about saving money on phone calls with VOIP. I wrote about this before and could not be happier with our switch to Vonage.
  • We’re In Debt bought a share in their local CSA…this is something I recommend for everyone, even if you don’t care about saving money. Support local farmers and get organic vegetables; everyone wins.
  • The Frugal Law Student says that the library is better than Netflix for movies. While I cannot agree that it is in fact better, I can agree that it is a great frugal way to watch movies. Our library has some good movies, but most are pretty old. And for $12 a month I watch as many as I can handle from Netflix, so I cannot complain.
  • Be sure to check out next week’s Festival over at Getting Green!
