The 109th Carnival Of Personal Finance Is Making A Mint.

The 109th Carnival of Personal Finance is up today over at the Mint Blog. If you don’t know what Mint is, be sure to check out some info at their main page, Mint.com. But in the meantime, be sure to check out all the submissions to the Carnival this week, including my post “Getting the Most out of your Credit Card Reward Program“. Some other interesting posts that caught my eye this week:
Penny Pinching Newlywed tells us “How to Prevent Whole Foods From Becoming Whole Paycheck”, and I could not agree more. Whole Foods can be expensive, but then again, organic foods should be. For us, we combo Whole Foods with the farmers market in our ‘hood every week and our grocery bill is around $100 a week for fresh, organic foods.
Money, Matter and More Musings wants you to think your finances before having children. A touchy subject, sure, but really, it should be at the forefront of your mind before you start having children. For us, we want to make sure we are ready to give them what they need in life before committing to having them.
Money Smart Life explains the AMEX Business Gold Card Reward program. Good thing, because after applying for the card through Five Cent Nickel’s post about the same, my card showed up Saturday!
Be sure to look for next week’s Carnival over at Fat Pitch Financial!
