I used gotoday.com for our trip to Italy and, for two people, airfare, and hotel for seven days, we paid around $1500, which included a day trip to Pompeii. It was several years ago, but I believe the airfare was around $500.
Recently, we saved big time by booking a Disney trip through Small World Vacations, Inc., DWVacations.com. I compared online and they got us a better hotel and still saved us about $500. I even used the other tricks - one of which was to use Small World Vacations - in the Unofficial Guide to Disney World in an effort to get the best price!

I’ve saved money booking through agencies. They just charged half when I booked and they will charge the other half in 30 days. It's pretty cool.

No, they didn’t Matt. I've taken trips where I saved money by not taking a package - though I'd have to say this is probably the exception to the rule.
I like the option of paying for the trip in installments - did they charge any interest on this feature?

Package deals are good price wise but if you’re the adventurous sort and want to move around or you’re not going to take advantage of the package then it looses its value.

I’ve taken trips where I saved money by not taking a package – though I’d have to say this is probably the exception to the rule.

I like the option of paying for the trip in installments – did they charge any interest on this feature?

By: Tom

<guid
