Sunday Money Roundup – Home Alone Edition.

My wife is off to Chicago this weekend for a bridal shower and bachelorette party so I am home alone. And as usual, the first day is pretty cool…lounging around doing whatever I want. But day 2 is strange because it feels weird being by yourself in the house! While I try to find something to do, why don’t you enjoy these fine articles that caught my eye this week:

Silicon Valley Blogger has another great detailed post up, this one about inflation. ” Watch Prices Go Up: Interesting Facts About Inflation”. Be sure to check it out.

Money Smart Life asks “Should You Improve Your Life or Watch Television?”. A very worthwhile question with the fall TV season starting up this week.

Paid Twice goes ultra-frugal and attempts to make some homemade baby wipes. Very interesting stuff…

Lazy Man & Money struggles with a jealousy issue about an old college friend’s success. Luckily, he started wondering if the guy worked all day or had a loving wife to come home to. The lesson? Don’t let jealousy get to you over these things, you probably never know the entire story.

Punny Money warns you about Notary fees and how much they are actually allowed to charge you. I had no idea! Watch out for rip-off artists!

MoneyNing wants to know…“Should I Celebrate And Splurge?” after helping close a good deal with a customer.

Five Cent Nickel deals with found money and teaches his kids a valuable lesson at the same time. I wish more people were this honest, this world would be a better place.

No Credit Needed presents “Day 20 of 33 Days And 33 Ways To Save Money And Reduce Debt: Create A Binder For Manuals”. I am a stickler for being organized and this is great advice.

Enjoy your Sunday!

It wasn’t quite so “lucky” that I thought that :-).

My wife travels from time to time. You get used to it. I like to get ahead in my writing during those times.
