The only problem for me is absolutely falling in love with the place that I bypass all the bad stuff. Having someone else with me and coming into the home being sceptical of what the landlord says helps me to see straight. Maybe Wilma didn't have her cup of coffee that day? One thing I taught my children when they were beginning to rent was to drive thru the parking lot-during the day and during the night to see how many residents worked at either night or day, also to see the condition of the cars in the lot. Are they raggedy, have bullet holes, well maintained? That tells the type of clientele that lives at that complex.
