People that are worried about money will find it a greater challenge to be happy, but financial success does not necessarily make people happy in all areas of their lives. That's why I'm focused on paying off debt! ---Their studies reported non-financial factors that do make people more happy; people who are self employed, religious, and married are happier than those that work for others, are not religious or single. I'm working on the self employed part, furiously working! Got the other two down, now to get out from under someone else's thumb. Two caught my eye:

I still work about 20 hours a week for a company, but I do it from home, on my time, and it's something I like to do anyway. Add in my own projects and clients, and I have not felt this happy since high school. There must be something to it!
