I swear, I'm thinking about starting a website that solicits costs for a family of 4 for EVERYTHING they buy during the course of a year across all 50 states. Then I want to compare it to what the Feds say is our "cost of living." I would guarantee that it would be no where near what the government hacks say it is. Yet the Feds still say that inflation was only 3% for last year. I swear, I’m thinking about starting a website that solicits costs for a family of 4 for EVERYTHING they buy during the course of a year across all 50 states. On a personal level I'm I'm happy that I've protected myself from a number of them, to the extent I can - no car, no rent, no consumer debt, and money at home in Europe as well as here in N.America - because indications are that it won't be slowing down anytime soon. The food one's been on my mind recently, since reading <a href="http://www.macleans.ca/article.jsp?content=20080227_59852_59852&source=srch" rel="nofollow">this article in Macleans</a> (which I see to be linking all over the place, but I thought it was really thought-provoking). Get to growing those veggies! It’s wild.
