Economic Stimulus Checks Being Sent Out Early.
I have made my feelings known about the economic stimulus check and how I think it is both a waste of time and money, but if you are sitting around waiting patiently for your check, the government might have just made your day. They have announced that they will start sending them out earlier than planned – Monday, April 28th – a full week earlier. Why? Because they think it will help the economy. But I don’t think it will have any effect at all.

I’m 65 years old now and over the years we have always had good times, then a year or two of not so good time. Why does everyone get so excited that they going to lose a little money, when we sit back and look what shape the rest of the world is in? It use to be we would help one another, now we are out to get all we can. I’m sorry but the spoiled people of America need to know there are others here that have a lot less and are getting by without having everything. I’ve been disabled for 24 years and not been able to work. You learn how to get by on what you have and not crying about it. I didn’t go out and buy a big fancy home, I sold what I had and bought a mobile home. Remember the Lord helps those who helps others.
Thankfully, there won’t be a second check.
why would you say such a thing?
Because it’s what I believe. I don’t need to borrow money from the government so my kids have to pay it back later. Thankfully, even though I wish we didn’t have one at all, Obama wised up and spread out the second stimulus over 2009, with a little in each check. The smart thing to do. I don’t get any though, because I am self-employed, and that’s OK with me.
I have heard that a stimlus for seniorsshould have came in March.I also heard that a second stimulus was turned down for 2010. My question is Will there be another $250.00, and when will it be sent
I try to live on my S.S.I.,but I did not get an increase this year, but everything else went up,I would be Ok IF the Government had not LOST my work history,and now I do not have even enough money to pay my utilities each month,and I was hoping for the stimulus to fix the only heating system in my house,that is in one room,on the wall,a tiny gas heater,that you cannot run all the time!I am not looking for a hand out but a hand up,when I die my house is to be sold and divided between my children and the people who helped me,so they can help others who might be in my same shoes.
