Sunday Money Roundup – Broken iPhone Edition.

Whoo-hoo, I get to drive 2 hours down to the Apple store in Albuquerque to have them take a look at my iPhone, which has what looks like lightning going across the screen. It’s inside the screen, so I know it’s not anything I did…but still, it’s not even a year old. Luckily it is under warranty, so we shall see what they give me or if they can fix it. Sigh…

  1. Sorry to hear your Iphone is broken. It sucks that it is less than a year old. Maybe they will hook you up with a brand new one. I just got my Iphone about a month ago and I love it.

  2. Big Winner says:

Sorry about your iphone : (
I’ve got one and so far it’s worked well, which is good since I bought it used and probably doesn’t have a valid warranty anymore.

  3. MoneyNing says:

Yikes! I hope your journey to get the iphone fixed turns out okay! Maybe they will give you a new 3g one for free!!

  4. Emily says:

David, thanks so much for the mention! I really appreciate it! Good luck getting your iPhone fixed!

  5. Patrick says:

Ha! That’s what you get for being an early adopter and buying into the hype!

Just kidding! My coworker has an iPhone, and I agree it is a sweet piece of technology! Good luck getting it fixed, and thanks for the link. 🙂

  6. David says:

It has worked, and still works fine – its just the lightning bolts across the screen that bother me. I didn’t make it down there this weekend, guess it will have to wait – we went to the river instead. Much more fun!

    Very funny Patrick, very funny….

  7. That stinks about your iPhone and especially so since you have to drive so far to have it looked at… Thanks for linking to my post. I just put up my first 2 mistint gallons this weekend and it’s great knowing I painted a whole room for just $6!

  8. Our iPhone hasn’t had problems yet even though our kids have been flinging it around and playing it like a gameboy. It’s cool though since it does just about everything except serve you breakfast.
