I think you would be surprised at how much data the average consumer uses, it's nothing near that amount. This is simply to reign in the hard core peer-to-peer abusers. In your case, can you check your monthly usage online somewhere, or does it appear on your bill? Due to the nature of your business, do they have a small business plan you could switch to that would have the data you need each month if it exceeds 250GB? In my old area, if I didn't have Comcast internet then I would have to have dial-up...UGH! It may not be as fast as cable internet, but to my knowledge there are no plans to cap DSL usage.
