Why shouldn't it be about how you define or the number of poor, or why shouldn't it be about how you raise money when, "Our aim is to raise awareness and trigger a global discussion, and this year’s issue is POVERTY." I think discussion on how to spend or how to act is very germane, because throwing money at "poverty" or a purely monetary aspect does not reduce, has not reduced, or end poverty. Every blog action day blog I've seen talks only about raising money. There is a ton of money out there to "end poverty" already and you would figure with all that money, poverty would have ended centuries ago; however, throwing money at the problem has never resolved the problem, so, sorry, someone should be critical of the monetary aspect.
