We are living in SE Europe right now, so there’s not a lot going on Hallowe’en wise… which leads us to create our own celebration for our kid. It’s pretty fun, actually. There are no orange pumpkins, just white ones and green ones with orange splotches. Our daughter picked one of the green ones with orange dots and we will be carving it tonight! It’s great to have the comfort and insurance of the American holidays even when you are far away. Plus we didn’t buy a bg bagful of candy for trick-or-treaters (which we end up eating over the next weeks). All in all, it’s a winner! Jerry
