I’ve always like nickel’s blog and I found the post you linked to particularly good. It’s kind of short, but I’ve found that a lot of people are following the Ramsey philosophy pretty blindly when it comes to finances, which is a pretty dangerous situation to put yourself in.

  2. David says:

Agreed, Ed – following any one system blindly is a huge mistake!

I’ll be voting Tuesday. The next 4 years will certainly be interesting! Thanks for the mention! 🙂

  4. After a year of frugality, I’m $171 away from being credit card debt-free (now, on to the student loans. . . .) I couldn’t have done it without blogs like yours. I was the recipient of a ‘kreative blogger’ award, and have passed it on to you as well, with a post on my blog. Thanks for being an inspiration to me and others!

Wow, congrats on your success, glad I could help!

Thanks for mentioning my “side hustles” article! I procrastinated and missed the early voting window here, so I guess I’ll be standing in the long lines with others on Tuesday night.

  7. Hey David, thanks for the mention. I voted early and I’m kinda glad. I have 5 fillings getting replaced at the dentist tomorrow. I’m gonna be sore no matter who wins. 😀
