Sunday Money Roundup – Packing Again Edition.

As I mentioned earlier this week, we are moving again – after only 6 short months in our current house. And along with moving comes packing, which I despise. Luckily it is an across-town move and we have a few weeks to transition, so it shouldn’t be that bad. But still – I hate packing. Ugh. On to the roundup…

My Dollar Plan has some information on the 2009 Roth 401K and Roth IRA limits. Good to know!

Cash Money Life tells you to Invest As Much As You Can Now, So You Will Have Options Later. Wise advice if there ever was any!

That One Caveman helps you renew old furniture and make it look great. I will need these tips once we move into our new house with the workshop.

Moolanomy talks about college students handling credit cards.

Four Pillars has an excellent article titled “How To Have An Adult Conversation“. Great stuff.

Being Frugal wants to help you have a frugal & memorable Thanksgiving. Yum, turkey.

MoneyNing talks about his parents teaching him personal finance. Great advice for any parents with children.

Gather Little By Little doesn’t want death to catch you unprepared. Read it and take some lessons away.

Get Rich Slowly wants you to Put Your Savings on Steroids with Certificates of Deposit. I really gotta get started with CD’s one of these days.

The Wisdom Journal talks about The Myth of Self Discipline. This post is dead-on, and you should read it if you think you lack self-discipline.

And here are the carnivals and festivals that I participated in last week:

Sun’s Financial Diary hosted Carnival of Personal Finance #177, where my article Buying A Vacation Home But Renting A Primary Home was included.

Bargain Briana hosted the 150th Festival of Frugality, where my post “1,019 Different Ways To Save Money” was included

Living Almost Large hosted the 37th Carnival of Money Hacks, and my article “Putting Together My “˜What If”¦’ Emergency Information” was included.
