The 100 Best Companies To Work For.
Money has their list of the Top 100 companies to work for up again, so I figured you might want to see if you work for one of them! Here are the top 10:
1. Google
2. Quicken Loans
3. Wegmans Food Markets
4. Edward Jones
5. Genentech
6. Cisco Systems
7. Starbucks
8. Qualcomm
9. Goldman Sachs
10. Methodist Hospital System
Check out the rest of the list here, but I have to say – my favorite company to work for is my own. After over 2 years of being on my own, I find it hard to fathom ever going back to the 9-5!

My very first job was with Wegmans Food Markets, over 30 years ago. I still LOVE Wegmans. Great store to shop at too.
I would be afraid to be working for Starbucks (closing a number of stores) and Edward Jones (if you have any money in the stock market, you should understand this one).
Healthcare is probably one of the safest professions to be in right now.
Wow, David, you are my hero! Congratulations on two years. One of these days …
@SGM
Edward Jones is an anomaly in the financial world in that they refused to buy into the risky assets that many other firms willingly purchased. They were ridiculed as too stodgy and conservative in 2007 but recognized as geniuses in 2008!
Yea, EJ seems to be doing ok in all of this. Same goes for my local independent banks – they are still lending money perfectly fine and are in good health. Seems that some people made the right decisions!
i agree! working for myself is the best job i’ve ever had (i’m a photographer). not the best income, but def the best job.
