Sunday Money Roundup – Home Again Edition.

Well, we are in Boston now where we will be for the next 10 days or so. It’s been about 1.5 years since I was home, and it’s nice to finally be back. I really should go more often! Posting will be lighter than usual while I am home, but things will still move forward. So while I visit my old friends and see my family, check out some posts that caught my eye while I was on the train the last few days…

Moolanomy discusses Big Bath Accounting Fraud. What’s that? Click through to find out!

My Supercharged Life talks about Personal Finance Budgeting Priorities In An Income Crisis.

Money Ning has 5 year-end tax moves you should look into. I should have done more this year to offset my income, but maybe these last minute tips will help.

Cash Money Life has some advice for those of you looking for Self-Employed Retirement Plans. Great post, I needed this one!

Paid Twice has an amazing post up about how the past her, the one with all the credit card debt, is not her anymore. I have said it before and will say it again – PaidTwice’s journey out of credit card debt is one that every person looking for inspiration to do the same should read.

The Digerati Life reviews Ebates, a way to save and make money while shopping!

Clever Dude has The Truth Behind Why Japanese Automakers are “Better”. I totally get this reason, but I also think they make much better automobiles, which certainly doesn’t hurt them any. Our manufacturers simply cannot compete on a quality or style level.

Green Panda Treehouse talks about Planning a Vacation Without Spending a Ton of Money. It’s always important to save money but it’s also important to try to take vacations. This post helps with both!

Million Dollar Journey talks about saving energy costs with a heat pump. This is definitely a good way to save some money on heating, even with the upfront expense.

Mrs. Micah has some advice on how NOT to handle a shopping spree – by shredding the evidence. Sometimes, PR people amaze me with what they come up with.
