Money Quote Friday – Attitude Towards Money Edition.
So many of our problems come from our terrible relationship with money. It’s a shame we don’t spend as much time working on it as we do other unhealthy relationships, no? Have a great weekend…

So what, in your opinion, IS the right attitude towards money? This is an honest question, by the way, because I’m completely lost.
That there are things way more important than money, and if you spend your life chasing it, you will miss out on all of them. Once you die, you are gone…what good is money then if you spent your entire life only caring about it and not people, experiences, family, hobbies, etc… that to me is unhealthy.
My attitude towards money is simple – It’s knowing that you have “enough” and then some, to be prepared for just about anything money related.
But to make this possible – you have to have a healthy need (greed) to hord it. You can’t take it with you to the grave, but atleast you’ll have something to leave to your families, charities, etc.
I do admire those who live each day to the fullest and don’t worry themselves about saving for the future, emergencies, etc; but in my expereince they usually hit up the worry warts (like me) when faced with a crisis.
So once again its helps to be prepared.
