I have a 1994 Jeep Wrangler I bought new (and paid off in 6 months). I will never get rid of that car – it is built like a tank and runs very reliably. Excellent value for you money in those older models.

Yeah, I got it back in college (stupid waste of money at the time). But living in or around campus, I rarely drove, so the miles never piled up, and the transfer case exploded on the trip to our new house across the state, and once it found the garage, it just sat.

But just thinking about summer makes me want to get to work on it now. Might have to hit up craigslist to search for parts

Welcome back to the Jeep brotherhood!

I used to be real big into Jeeps, was in some clubs, ran some jeep sites, etc. Good times.

I actually still have my jeep, but it is parked in my garage and hasn’t moved in 3 years Needs a new transfer case and front driveshaft among other things.

It’s a 1999 TJ, 33″ tires, about 5″ lift, and only has about 50,000 miles on it. One of these days I’m going to spend a few weeks in the garage and get it back on the road. There is honestly nothing better than cruising around in the summer with the top and doors off.
