For our anniversary one year, I made a set of 4 tapes with songs that reminded me of the ups and downs, hills and valleys, slips and triumphs through our marriage. (up until that point) [Yes, they were tapes, I know I'm dating myself :) ] Great set of songs, but music wasn't really her thing, it was mine. So if she likes gifts of service create a book of coupons that she can present to have things done like back-rubs, vacuuming, cooking dinner etc. Think in her language and you'll be just fine. The key is making sure that whatever you do is speaking her language. While not the least expensive choice, it's the best. It's hard to be romantic when there's a 9 year old yacking "Dad i have a question."
