Sunday Money Roundup – Playing Guitar Edition.

The blisters are back again. I used to play guitar every single day, but for the last 8 years or so they have been sitting in a closet waiting for me to get interested again. But in the last couple of weeks, I have really gotten back into playing, and my fingers are paying the price, making it hard to even type. Eventually the blisters will turn into calluses and all will be well again – I am just so excited to have found this hobby again after so long! On to the roundup…

Congrats on getting back to the guitar. Like you, I played seemingly all day every day a number of years ago, but I have hardly touched them in the past 5 years. I need to just set aside 20 minutes a day and get back at it, although I don’t look forward to building up the callouses again!

I’ve been picking up the guitar more often lately as well. Still strumming on the acoustic… haven’t take the time to change the strings on my Telecaster or Les Paul… or pull out the amp. 😉

    THanks for the mention. 🙂

  3. Thanks for blogging about my hiking plans. I’d still like to here from anyone who uses their phone to blog.

Thanks for including my post! We’ve been enjoying our Prius 🙂 Congrats on getting back to the guitar. I’ve just started learning, and I’m enjoying myself immensely — and learning a new instrument has inspired me to start practicing again with the instruments I already play!
