I think the point is that money is not everything, and too many people focus on it at the expense of “real” traits. I know money just means I can pay the rent; it doesn’t make me happy or content and never would.

Dear Mr. Henry Ford: Money is a nice down payment on independence. I’m thinking that Ford, Chrysler, and GM, and millions of unemployed could use a little bit of that money right now to remain independent of our government. Or are you saying that knowledge, experience and ability provide guaranteed employment or food to eat?

Interesting quote, thanks for sharing. We’re all dependant on money in some way or another. I think the heart of the matter is our level of dependance on someone giving us the money. Are we proactive our reactive in our ability to provide for ourselves.

So many… too many rely on handouts (actual welfare or entrenched lazy work ethics). But those who identify and seize opportunities will win in the end.

Thank you for this reminder that money isn’t everything. There are more important things in life. Besides, someone with money, who doesn’t know how to properly manage it, will always lose it. Those with knowledge, ability and experience, can, with proper application, recover from almost anything and make money again.

If we’ve learned anything over the last year, its that sometimes, “financial security” is an oxymoron.

In my experience, the only real security in this world is faith. We have to do our best at all times and have gratitude for what we have. But at the end of the day, its about faith in my opinion.
