		<description>You should also keep a CD containing photos you&#039;ve taken of every room in the house, perhaps several photos per room, to document the existence of your possessions in case you need to file an insurance claim after a fire or whatever.

Personally, i recently decided to keep all my important documents in a rather plain looking black bag which i could quickly grab in case i had to get out of the house in a hurry. It&#039;s not likely burglars would bother looking in it, otherwise a please-take-me-looking safe which would also be heavy and difficult to grab in case of an emergency.</description>
