17 Cool Sites To Listen To Radio On The Internet For Free.

Yep, there are tons more out there – hundreds I would even guess. But I asked some friends what they liked to use, and took them at their word that these are worthwhile internet radio sites to check out. So without further ado, if you haven’t tried these yet, they might be worth a look if you want more choices for internet radio:

Pandora – When was the last time you fell in love with a new artist or song? At Pandora, we have a single mission: To play only music you’ll love. (My personal favorite right now)

AOL Radio – Free online radio at AOL Radio offers over 350 Internet radio stations with song skipping and includes music, news, sports and talk.

SHOUTcast – Offers thousands of free Internet radio stations from DJs and broadcasters around the world.

Blip.FM – A blip is a combination of 1) a song and 2) a short message that accompanies it. The way you create a blip is to first search for a song that you want to hear (or a song that you want your listeners to hear), then add a short message (under 150 characters), finally you submit it.

Last.FM – Recommends music, videos and concerts based on what you listen to.

Slacker – personalized radio service featuring over
100 expert-programmed genre stations and the ability to create your own perfect stations.

AccuRadio – A multichannel Internet radio station specifically designed to showcase the potential of the exciting new medium of Internet radio.

Live365 – 6,000+ radio stations run by real people.

Jango – Custom radio that plays what you want, and
discover new music you’re likely to like.

Yahoo Music – Listen to over 250 radio stations from any browser on both PC and Mac.

Radio Paradise – Hand-mixed by real humans.

  1. I did a post a few weeks back on the 8 Best Free Music sites and added a blurb with reviews that your readers might find interesting if they liked this post.

I had Pandora, Grooveshark, and Blip.fm as the top three.

I also had a few that weren’t on your list. imeem(like Grooveshark), TheSitxyOne(like Digg for music), Sky.fm(streaming stations), and Jamendo(offers free downloads) on my list.

  2. Craig says:

I am a big fan of grooveshark and pandora. Both quality sites and have the music I want. Only problem with pandora is if you skip too many songs you can’t skip anymore.

  3. Hank says:

I personally like to go directly to the radio station’s (if you know it) website. Many of them have free streaming there.

  4. Always like to see others who are interested in promoting Internet Radio sites.

  5. Nataly Jones says:

It’s good that today we can watch tv online and listen to the radio on the Internet for free and with no efforts.:)
