What a fun story! :) My husband's car just died (and is too rusty to safely repair) and it had over 215,000 miles - and he bought it for $1600 in 2004 with 42,000 miles. He got his money out of it for sure, but still wishes it was repairable. ;) LOL! What a fun story! The article said that he modified the engine when he was in high school - so the car could go over 80mph when the standard engine wouldn't go much over 55.
