Great article! For people with smaller income/extra money still can put on mutual fund for $1000 VG starfund for example and some may waive minimum (not Vanguard), if you do automated direct deposit. Mutual fund or index fund is usual way to go. Index fund also have less fees too. ETF are good option, if you are going to buy and hold it type.
