I went ahead and bought the Roku box for $89 and have the same plan you have (1DVD @ a time for $8.99mo) I always have something to watch. I missed the whole LOST thing and am watching that show from the beginning - I'm on season two now. Highly recommended!

I love, love this option with Netflix. But I do have one big gripe about netflix, their marketing. They have very irritating ads all over the internet and people will spam the shit out of netflix affiliates (example, the guy above me in the comments) and I really despise the fact that netflix condones these kind of spammy advertising activities.
I don't mind posts like this one though where they actually tell you the benefits of it without trying to fit in as many keywords as possible like the above commentator.

I love netflix and have had it for awhile now. My computer is directly hooked to my TV so that anything I watch "on the computer" is watched on my 37" LED TV. Is there really a need for a special DVD player?

Sounds like a great deal.
