My neighborhood came up as "since it is a small town... no public transit" Which is amusing since two train lines and two bus lines run through here and two bus lines. We chose our street because it is three blocks from train and two blocks from bus (which connects to the crosstown bus 10 min south) I also would look at taxes, but avoid an area that didn't spend on its schools. Even though my children are grown. Do double check their info. I'm trying to convince my wife that after the kids get grown and move off, we should sell everything, buy a small motorhome and just travel wherever we want. Visit the kids and grandkids, visit Alaska, drive up the coast (either of them). Everything can be done online anyway and having a house somewhere just means I'll have to worry about it. Campgrounds are cheap and I kinda like the idea of living like a turtle with my house on my back! haha! She isn't convinced ... yet. *sigh* That’s a cool site.

We are having a tough time deciding where to move to. A lot of our friends, church, places we like to go, preschool, and better schools are in one town right by us. But if you live 5-10 minutes outside of that town you can save money on taxes and 20-30,000 on the house. So its a tough choice for us! We want to move there, but need to save for another 3-4 years before we can get the down payment ready for the house. Craziness. I love it! We are having a tough time deciding where to move to.
