Sunday Money Roundup – Amex Gold Card Points Edition.

I have written before about how I have used points from various cards and programs (like MyPoints, which I love) to get free merchandise and trips, but I am finally ready to trade in my American Express Gold Business Card points on something worthwhile. I haven’t decided on exactly what, as I am deciding between an LCD TV for my office/second living room or a Bose 3-2-1 home stereo system that could replace my 14 year old receiver and speakers. Decisions, decisions – but not a bad choice to have to make! On to the roundup…

Sunday Money Roundup – Enough Is Surely Enough Edition.

Enough is enough. Seriously. I just mowed my lawn last week and now it’s snowing out. By later today it will be 65 degrees, all the snow will melt, and all the roads will turn to sticky mud. I know I live in the mountains, and I know the weather here can be sketchy, but still…it’s April 19 and it just snowed. Even where I grew up on the East Coast we rarely got snow this late in the season. I just want to put my snow boots away! While I go sit in the sun and wait for the next blizzard, enjoy these posts that caught my eye over the past week…

Sunday Money Roundup – Clean House Edition.

Phew! What a day yesterday was. I cleaned the whole house, from top to bottom, whilst watching my Red Sox beat the Angels. I stayed inside all day because it snowed and/or rained all day, so I really got a lot done. Sometimes you just need to do a thorough cleaning. I think today I will sit down and just read and watch TV, so while I do that, here are some articles that caught my eye this past week:

Sunday Money Roundup – It’s Planting Time Edition.

Time to get my raised beds put together and some seeds in the ground! I am hoping that the wild weather we have been having lately is over, as it was 70 the other day and then it was snowy and hailing a few days later. But since it is April, I guess it’s time to take the chance on the weather if I want to have food to eat in a few months. While I plan out the beds, here are some stories that caught my eye over this past week…
